We bevinden ons in een interessante astrologische periode. Niet alleen gaan er de komende weken een aantal planeten retrograde lopen, maar Uranus gaat "voordat die ook retrograde gaat" een uitstapje maken in Tweelingen. Vanaf 24 april 2026 zal Uranus ruim 6 jaar door Tweelingen lopen.
Wat gaat er allemaal gebeuren in de maand Juli?
Op 4 juli beginnen we met het retrograde gaan van Neptunus. Deze zeer traag draaiende planeet zal dan zijn weg terug beginnen naar Vissen waar die op 10 december weer direct zal gaan en zich weer zal begeven naar Ram waar die tot 21 mei 2038 in zal verblijven.
Op 4 juli is de conjunctie van Venus en Uranus in het aarde teken Stier. Venus en Uranus staan dan in Trine met retrograde draaiende Pluto in Waterman en in sextiel met Neptunus en Saturnus in Ram. Ook op 04 juli zal Venus verhuizen van Stier naar Tweelingen gevolgd door Uranus op de 7de juli. Buiten dat het de Amerikaanse Onafhankelijkheidsdag is, voelt 4 juli voor mij aan als belangrijk.
Op 13 Juli gaat Saturnus ook weer terug van de vurige Ram naar de dromerige Vissen om vervolgens op 28 november weer naar Ram toe bewegen waar die tot 12 april 2028 zal verblijven.
Op 18 juli gaat communicatie planeet Mercurius voor de tweede keer dit jaar retrograde in het vurige teken Leeuw. Zorg dus dat je voor die tijd alles op orde hebt qua contracten en legale papieren. Mercurius gaat retrogade van 18 juli tot 11 augustus en het zal daarna nog tot 18 augustus duren voordat Mercurius weer op volle vaart is "de schaduwperiode". Op 02 september zal Mercurius Maagd in gaan.
Als kers op de taart hebben we nog Chiron die op 30 juli retrograde zal gaan in Ram het sterrenbeeld waar die al heel wat jaren in verblijft. Chiron is de gewonde heler en heeft heel wat te helen in Ram, maar heelt ook via de aspecten die die maakt met de verschillende planten in de verschillende huizen. Zo staat Chiron al een aantal weken in Square met retrograde Pluto in Waterman. En dit is niet de eerste keer dat ze square, in trine of sextiel met elkaar staan. Deze twee houden elkaar mooi in evenwicht. En voordat ik het vergeet, 7-7 is een belangrijke poortdag en op 25 juli gaat de Leeuwenpoort weer open met als hoogte punt de 8-8 poortdag om daarna weer op 12 augustus te sluiten.

Astrological shifts July
We are in an interesting astrological period. Not only will a number of planets go retrograde in the coming weeks, but Uranus will also make a trip into Gemini "before it goes retrograde". From April 24, 2026, Uranus will travel through Gemini for over 6 years.
What will happen in the month of July?
On July 4, we will start with Neptune going retrograde. This very slowly rotating planet will then start its way back to Pisces where it will go direct again on December 10 and will move back to Aries where it will stay until May 21, 2038.
Also on July 4, the conjunction of Venus and Uranus in the earth sign Taurus. Venus and Uranus are then in Trine with retrograde Pluto in Aquarius and in sextile with Neptune and Saturn in Aries. Also on July 4th, Venus will move from Taurus into Gemini followed by Uranus on July 7th. Apart from the fact that it is the American Independence Day, July 4 feels important to me.
On July 13, Saturn also returns from fiery Aries to dreamy Pisces and then moves back to Aries on November 28, where it will stay until April 12, 2028.
On July 18, communication planet Mercury goes retrograde for the second time this year in the fiery sign of Leo. So make sure you have everything in order in terms of contracts and legal papers before then. Mercury goes retrograde from July 18 to August 11 and it will then take until August 18 before Mercury is back at full speed "the shadow period". On September 2, Mercury will enter Virgo.
To top it all off, we have Chiron who will go retrograde on July 30th in Aries, the sign he has been in for many years. Chiron is the wounded healer and has a lot to heal in Aries, but also heals through the aspects he makes with the different plants in the different houses. Chiron has been in Square for a few weeks now with retrograde Pluto in Aquarius. And this is not the first time they have been square, in trine or sextile with each other. These two keep each other in balance. And before I forget, 7-7 is an important portal day and on July 25th the Lions Gate will open again with the 8-8 portal day as the highlight and then close again on August 12th.
