Zoals belooft eind vorige jaar zou ik wat dieper ingaan op de astrologische verschuivingen. Ik beperk me nu even tot de maand April omdat er zoveel staat te gebeuren. April is een vuur maand. Niet alleen omdat het grotendeels wordt geregeerd door Aries, maar vooral omdat er veel te gebeuren staat.
We nemen even een paar stappen terug en zien dat op 30 Maart de planeet Venus het sterrenbeeld Stier betrad. Venus is samen met de Maan en Mercury de snelst draaiende planeet uit ons zonnestelsel. Het was op 6 Maart dat Venus in Aries kwam en op 30 Maart schoof ze al weer door naar Stier.
Op 2 april hadden we de mooie Pink volle Maan in Weegschaal waar het eerst opposities kwam te staan mat Neptunus, Saturnus, de Zon en nu met Cheiron allen in Ram. Het zijn misschien een paar moeilijke dagen geweest, maar het was voor onze eigen bestwil om het meer even zo te zeggen. De afgelopen planeet en maanstanden waren om ons nog meer te reinigen en innerlijke blokkades te verwijderen. Een volle maan is altijd goed om ons te ontdoen van innerlijke bagage.
Dan door naar 9 maart wanneer de planeet Mars thuis gaat komen in Ram en daar mee gaat feesten met Neptunus, Saturnus, de Zon en Cheiron. Dit zal een stevige verschuiving geven in de energie die we allemaal weer kunnen voelen. Als je net als ik een echte Aries bent (22-03) zal je het zeker gaan voelen. De thuiskomst van Mars in Aries is altijd een belangrijk iets. Overigens zal Mars het nu niet rustig aan doen maar stevig doorpakken. Op 13 april is daar al de conjunctie tussen Mars en Neptunus wat voor wat vuurwerk kan gaan zorgen.
Op 15 maart wordt het nog gezelliger in het sterrenbeeld Ram wanneer Mercurius besluit om ook meet te gaan feesten. En ook de Maan zal zich aansluiten omdat het op 17 maart om 13:52 uur (Dutch time) nieuwe maan zal zijn. 15 maart wordt overigens ook het startschot voor het vuurwerk waar vele al lang op zitten te wachten, maar daar kom ik iets later op terug. We zullen wee een opbouwende energie gaan voelen, het gevoel hebben dat er spoedig iets groots gaat gebeuren. Dus als je nu enige rust en vrede voelt, geniet daar nog even van.
De zon staat 16 april conjunct Chiron waardoor alle pijn en verdriet even in het volle licht wordt gezet. Chiron is de gewonde heler die op geheel eigen wijzen onze innerlijke wonden probeert te helen. Op 17 april staat Mercurius conjunct met Neptunus. Ook dus op 17 april de nieuwe maan in Ram. 19 april komt Mars Saturnus tegen, iets wat ook voor wat vuurwerk kan zorgen. De God van de oorlog (Mars) en Saturnus de God van regelgeving, dat kan botsen.
20 april komt er alweer een einde aan het Rammen seizoen en gaat de zon in Stier. Op diezelfde dag staat de snelst draaiende planeet Mercurius eerst conjuncte met Saturnus en later op de dag met Mars. Dit vind dus allemaal plaats in Ram wat op het moment even het belangrijkste sterrenbeeld is aangezien er in alle andere sterrenbeelden weinig gebeurd. 24 april staan Venus en Uranus conjunct in Stier. Zoals ik aan het begin al schreef raast Venus door de sterrenbeelden heen net als Mercurius en de Maan.
Diezelfde dag 24 april gaat Venus het sterrenbeeld Tweelingen in en ook hier zullen we weer een flinke shift in de energie gaan voelen, maar dat is nog niets in vergelijking wat gaat komen. Op 26 april gaat een van de langzaam draaiende planeten Uranus verhuizen naar Tweelingen. Uranus heeft 7 jaar door het teken Stier heen gereis. Vorig jaar was er ook al even een klein uitstapje naar Tweelingen, maar nu is het permanent voor de komende 7 jaar. Uranus is de planeet van chaos, verrassingen en revolutie en zal ons samen met Mars, Jupiter, Saturnus en Pluto gaan uitdagen de komende zeven jaar. Het is aan ons hoe wij met die uitdagingen om zullen gaan.

Astro Shifts April 2026
As promised at the end of last year, I would delve a bit deeper into the astrological shifts. I will limit myself for now to the month of April because so much is about to happen. April is a fire month. Not only because it is largely ruled by Aries, but especially because there is a lot about to happen.
Let's take a few steps back and see that on March 30, the planet Venus entered the constellation Taurus. Along with the Moon and Mercury, Venus is the fastest-rotating planet in our solar system. It was on March 6 that Venus entered Aries, and on March 30, she shifted on to Taurus.
On April 2, we had the beautiful Pink Full Moon in Libra, where oppositions first occurred with Neptune, Saturn, the Sun, and now with Chiron, all in Aries. These may have been a few difficult days, but it was for our own good, so to speak. The recent planetary and moon phases were meant to cleanse us even more and remove inner blockages. A full moon is always good for shedding our inner baggage.
Moving on to March 9, when the planet Mars returns to Aries and joins the festivities there with Neptune, Saturn, the Sun, and Chiron. This will cause a significant shift in energy that we will all be able to feel again. If you are a true Aries like me (March 22), you will certainly feel it. The return of Mars to Aries is always a significant event. Moreover, Mars will not take it easy now but will really push ahead. On April 13, there is already the conjunction between Mars and Neptune, which could cause some fireworks.
On March 15, things will get even more festive in the constellation Aries when Mercury decides to join the party as well. The Moon will also join in, as it will be a new moon on March 17 at 1:52 PM (Dutch time). Incidentally, March 15th also marks the start of the fireworks that many have been waiting for for a long time, but I will come back to that a little later. We will once again start to feel a building energy, the sense that something big is about to happen soon. So if you are feeling any calm and peace right now, enjoy it while it lasts.
On April 16, the Sun is conjunct Chiron, briefly casting all pain and sorrow into the full light. Chiron is the wounded healer who attempts to heal our inner wounds in his own unique way. On April 17, Mercury is conjunct Neptune. Therefore, the new moon is also in Aries on April 17. On April 19, Mars meets Saturn, which could also cause some fireworks. The God of war (Mars) and Saturn, the God of regulation—that could clash.
On April 20, the Aries season comes to an end as the Sun moves into Taurus. On that same day, the fastest-rotating planet Mercury is first conjunct Saturn and later in the day Mars. All of this takes place in Aries, which is currently the most important zodiac sign, as little is happening in all the other signs. On April 24, Venus and Uranus are conjunct in Taurus. As I wrote at the beginning, Venus races through the constellations, just like Mercury and the Moon.
On that same day, April 24, Venus enters the constellation Gemini, and here too we will feel a significant shift in energy, but that is nothing compared to what is to come. On April 26, one of the slow-rotating planets, Uranus, will move into Gemini. Uranus has travelled through the sign of Taurus for 7 years. Last year there was already a brief excursion into Gemini, but now it is permanent for the next 7 years. Uranus is the planet of chaos, surprises, and revolution, and will challenge us together with Mars, Jupiter, Saturn, and Pluto over the next seven years. It is up to us how we will handle those challenges.
