How many times do we have to break before we get it right?
In heavens name, how long do we have to fight?
I had imagined life here on earth so differently
Much more gently
Sometimes we feel like we are living in hell
Time and time again we are just waiting for the next bombshell
Why can’t we live in peace and harmony?
Instead of all that insecurity
Life can be so much more than our society wants us to believe
Life does not have to be filled with drama, pain and grief
We must learn to play like the birds in the sky
Appreciate and love ourselves as the butterfly
So many people live in hunger and fear
It saddens me year after year
Why don’t we take care of each other?
Every human is our sister or brother
So please get rid of all those restrictions
And limit also all your convictions
We need to unite
So that humanity can come out of this dark night.
